Rara Treak : Photo Feature

Rara lake is the largest lake of Nepal,situated at Mugu district in Karnali Zone, in the far west region , near Gamgadhi (District Head Quarter of Mugu ) Talcha Airport. It take around 2 to 3 day walking / trekking to reach Rara from Jumla.


The Surface of Rara lake is around 8 square kilometer and the perimeter 9 kilometer, the length of lake is 5 kilometer and it is 2 kilometer wide, the altitude around 3060 meters and the max depth is 167 meter.

Dear Readers, YAD Nepal established in 2011 to start a new movement in development sector. It’s purely Youth volunteer based Organization. Our goal is to work in tourism, agriculture, education & health sector.   Since its establishment we are different activities here.
